Nuvanta Cloud is in private beta. This document is a plain-language summary of our intended terms and is not yet a final legal agreement. Final terms will be published before paid plans launch.
What unlimited means
Unlimited plans cover the data on one personal computer and the external drives attached to it. It is not a general-purpose object store, a content distribution origin, or a place to park a datacentre's worth of data behind a single licence.
Not permitted
Backing up data you do not own or have rights to. Storing unlawful content. Sharing a single account across multiple people or organisations. Using the client to sync or serve files to third parties. Deliberately generating load that degrades service for others.
How we enforce this
If an account looks like it falls outside normal use, we contact you first and explain what we're seeing. We do not silently throttle accounts or quietly delete data. Suspension is a last resort and always follows notice, except where the law requires otherwise.
