Terms of Service

Nuvanta Cloud is in private beta. This document is a plain-language summary of our intended terms and is not yet a final legal agreement. Final terms will be published before paid plans launch.
The service
Nuvanta Cloud provides continuous backup of computers, attached drives and network storage, plus restore of the data you have backed up. Backup is best-effort and depends on your device being powered on and connected.
Your responsibilities
You must have the right to store the data you back up. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe, and — in Private Key Mode — for keeping your encryption key. A lost private key cannot be recovered by us, and your data will be unrecoverable.
Billing
Plans are billed in Indian Rupees, in advance, monthly or annually. GST is charged as applicable and a tax invoice is issued for every payment. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; service continues until the end of the paid period.
Limitation of liability
We work hard to keep your data safe, but no backup service can promise perfection. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim. Keep a second copy of anything irreplaceable — that is the 3-2-1 rule, and it applies to us too.
